Junior Success at Deal Duathlon

Swim-1st Junior Triathletes Success.

Sunday 13th September 2015 saw the last race of the Triathlon England Junior Race South East Series.

It was a Duathlon that took place in Deal, Kent. A Duathlon is made up of a Run-Bike-Run event.  At the Deal Duathlon they had exclusive use of the whole of the tarmac cycling track offering safe, traffic-free bike courses, as well as the use of pleasant off-road trails for the run courses. Its not often the juniors get a chance to race on tarmac which is significantly faster than grass.

We had two teams captained by none other that our club Chairman, Kevin 'mean-ish machine' Hudson and Head Coach, Grant 'funniest photo' Mansfield.
